Up to 90% of English consumers are receptive to mailings. Despite the widespread opinion, direct marketing in Spain is gaining ground as a means of communication potential customers. 90% of consumers feel affinity toward direct mail, according to the latest Direct Marketing Monitor International (DMMI), a market trends survey conducted in 2008 in 30 countries around the world, including Spain.
Still, there remain large differences in Europe regarding their use: in our country are recorded about 120 shipments per person per year, while the European average in 250 . We have a long way to go.
Success is found in 2 main concepts:
- Design of the piece (it has to hit and draw the attention of the recipient)
- The possibility of including samples and / or promotions and discount product / service.
